The staff is very welcoming, polite and very helpful. The homemade pound cake (which I ate first) is amazing and is a must order. The chicken, rice and fries were all fresh and the sweet tea was delicious. Fantastic establishment. Friendly staff. Delicious food. Great prices. Please do yourself a favor and eat here. I found the Log Cabin when in the area for work. What a great restaurant. Highly recommended. The restaurant is small with only a handful of tables, but it is clean and well taken care of. Everyone working at the restaurant was friendly and made us feel welcome. I had the fried chicken platter and my coworker had the ribeye steak sandwich. On another visit we tried the catfish. Everything was fantastic. I highly recommend visiting if you can.
My wife & I called in an order To-Go while passing through while travelling to the local Vineyard. This place did not disappoint. It was absolutely delicious! The portions were large & every single thing tasted amazing. Don't sleep on this lil mom & pop restaurant. It's great! Great food, great service! We will definitely be back the next time we come to town!
Amazing food, service and atmosphere.
My husband frequents the area a lot and wanted to try the restaurant out today. We decided on the shrimp and oyster platter, and our daughter had the "Jesse" burger. The food was very good. The seafood wasn't too greasy, and it was seasoned (rare occurrence ), and the burger was cooked to perfection I would absolutely recommend stopping in to try their food.
We found this little gem on our way from Virginia to Orlando. You got to take a little detour from 95- but well worth it! Fried chicken is AMAZING- but you got to get there before 2. Try a dessert as well! Highly recommend toffee butter cake- all I have is a picture of the part I'm taking to go
Food overall was good. We had a group of 5 and ordered a range of food. No complaints on the vegetables overall. The fries were not done on one plate. Slaw was two wet on two plates. Fried fish was oily and oil needed changing. No complaints on the fried chicken. Overall a few negatives but not show stoppers. Will come again.
The macaroni was good actually, even though the cheese seemed like it was powdered cheese. The Fried oysters were good & they gave a pretty good quantity for it. Same with the fried shrimp. Shrimp was greasy and had a weird taste in some bite fulls but it was good quantity. The baked potato was good, just be careful when opening it because the aluminum foil was breaking off inside the potato easier than normal. Pecan Pie was amazing
